Welcome to our Rotary Club of Woodbridge-Perth Amboy Website. Our club was chartered in November 1923 as the Rotary of Woodbridge and renamed Rotary Club of Woodbridge-Perth Amboy in 1995.
The Rotary Club of Woodbridge-Perth Amboy is part of the Rotary International District 7510 headed by a District Governor, Alexander Cauwels. Our members consist of local business a person who are committed to serving the community and embraces the club’s motto of SERVICE ABOVE SELF.
One of the biggest projects of Rotary International is the eradication of Polio in the entire world and we are almost there with the help of the Gates Foundation. In the local scene, our club yearly grants $40,000 in scholarships to deserving students residing in the Woodbridge Township in New Jersey, maintain our mentoring program with third grade students at the Patten Elementary School in Perth Amboy, and provide campsite at the Kiddie Keep Well facility in Edison for handicapped and disabled children. In addition, Rotary is also involved in providing clean and drinking water to third world countries.
Unlike most of the civic clubs and organization, Rotary clubs meet weekly either for breakfast, lunch, or dinner as we believe in fellowship while achieving our commitment of SERVICE ABOVE SELF.
