A Message from the Club President

Greetings Everyone!

I am the president of our club from July 2017 through June 2018, and we are working hard to make the world a little better place to live.

We are looking for members who would like to serve the community, while at the same time building lifelong friendships and building their businesses.

The Rotary Club of Woodbridge-Perth Amboy is part of the Rotary International. Our members include entrepreneurs and professionals from the local area who are committed to serving the community, building relationships, and growing their businesses, while embracing the club’s motto, SERVICE ABOVE SELF.

One of the biggest projects of Rotary International is the eradication of polio in the world. Rotary International is also involved in water projects providing clean drinking water to underdeveloped nations. In the local scene, our club grants $40,000 yearly in scholarships to deserving students residing in Woodbridge Township. We also provide school supplies to children from low-income groups. The club maintains mentoring program with students at the Patten Elementary School in Perth Amboy, organizes a coat drive in the winter, provides food to local food banks, and contributes money and manpower to multiple worthwhile causes.

Our club members meet at 12:15 every 1st and 3rd Thursday at Dominics Restaurant in Avenel.

If you live or work in Woodbridge / Perth Amboy, and are interested in learning about Rotary, or joining our club, give me a call today.  If your schedule allows, please stop by for lunch and join one of our meetings!

Warm regards,

Rajesh Menon
